Julia and Fabrizio Alvarez de Toledo purchased the original stone farmhouse in the Summer of 2001, struck by its austere simplicity and the graceful natural landscape of its approach and setting. The following two years were devoted to skillfully transforming the original structure into an expansive country house, blending original details and materials with contemporary features and modern facilities. Outside, their efforts were aimed at integrating a graceful garden area, inviting pool, and expansive lawns into the existing landscape.

Fabrizio is an Italian national and MIT graduate, active since 1995 in energy projects development in Italy.

Julia Alvarez de Toledo is an interior designer with 20 years of experience working with clients in London, Boston, New York, Rome and Milan. Now located near Orvieto, she can offer a comprehensive design service to new buyers in central Italy.
